MCR Holdings is an innovative and highly motivated
portfolio management and investment business. The
primary goal of the company is to manage
'transformation' activities from creating new business
ventures through to direct hands on turnarounds,
financial restructuring, organic growth stimulus, and
active management development. In a business where up to
the minute information is critical, MCR wanted to an
online system that would allow them to communicate with
all the players involved in the transformation lifecycle
from initial investment to final exit.

Solution
|
After thorough business analysis, Network Build were
able to realise the vision of MCR Holdings by means of
a fully secure, password protected client area Extranet
that delivers online marketing and support information
to key business partners. This secure area comprises a
document management system allowing full control over
documents made available within the "document suite".
Leading edge technologies deliver advanced real time
graphing tools allowing visual display of business
intelligence and the automated generation of business
reports as downloadable PDF's.
Access to the Extranet is controlled via a Multi User
password protected system with each user having a unique
"Security Level" allowing access to varying types of
business information. The system was delivered in tandem
with a fully content managed website based upon Network
Build's "Site Manager" content management system.

The new system ensures that all key players in the MCR
process are kept fully informed at all times and from
any location. Innovative use of the technology provides
the right information to the right people at the right
time allowing them to respond swiftly to business
challenges, thus outperforming their peers. Whilst the
benefit to MRC's partners is significant, within the
organisation itself, the system has dramatically reduced
the administrative burden of managing their and has
