Learning Assistant is an innovative software company who
specialise in the delivery of online portfolio building
software for the vocational qualifications marketplace.
Prior to Learning Assistant, the traditional training
environment stifled the growth of training organisations
and held back candidates due to a logistical and
administrative overload. To overcome these problems
Learning Assistant commissioned a bespoke software

this high growth market.

Solution
|
Network Build provided a full analysis of the offline
business processes allowing a strategic plan to be
developed for moving the business online. The final
solution incorporates an online portfolio system
allowing modular training courses to be delivered via a
web browser.
The system can store a wide variety of documentation
such as courseware, support materials and evaluations.
Learners are able to store their portfolio of work
online to use as evidence of standards achieved, which
can be assessed remotely in real-time as there is no
need for the training company to be "on site" with the
client. An online contact diary further supports the
relationship between learner and trainer while online
communities allow learners to share knowledge and tap
into a support network of peers. Online productivity
tools allow for the management of training resources,
meetings, project reports and funding applications - all
from an intuitive web based administration.
